Joseph Holness tells us a personal story about his combat experiences in the contrived U.S. war with Iraq. Holness relates health problems, PTSD, and homelessness that veterans often encounter upon their return to civilian life. Holness lives in Gresham, Oregon. He spent eight years in the U.S. Army in Iraq and nine years with the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He is a member of the organization IVAW (Iraqi Veterans Against the War). He served in both the “Operation Iraqi Freedom” and the “Operation Enduring Freedom” campaigns.

Also includes a brief exploration of opera versus musical theater, modern opera and the ultimate operatic heavyweight, Wagner's Ring Cycle. And there won't be a fat lady, so you'll never know when it's over.
